Udinese vs AS Roma (Serie A, 06.01.2015)

Udinese ring in the New Year on Stadio Friuli against AS Roma, the team on the pursuit of happiness which would mean reaching Juventus in the title race. Roma trail with 3 points behind the Serie A leaders, while Udinese are in a somewhat familiar 9th place in the table, four points short of the last Europa League place.

Ever since being knocked out of the Champions League, Roma have displayed a mixed form in Serie A, and after the loss against Napoli at the beginning of Novemeber they are on an unbeaten run of five matches. Against Udinese they will be without Gervinho and Keita, who are taking part in the Africa Cup of Nations while Totti, Lobont and Destro are under doubt. The good news in their camp is the fact that Pjanic and Astori both return from suspension to give additional depth to both the defensive area as well as the midfield one.
Udinese-vs-Roma-06-January-2015-prediction
Udinese are once again difficult to predict or back with a bet: in the last five matches they only have one win, against Inter, two defeats against Milan and Hellas Verona, and two draws against Chievo and Sampdoria in the last Serie A clash of 2014. Against Roma they usually play better, having the Giallorossi working twice as hard and winning at just one goal difference. Pinzi and Heurtaux are both suspended while Muriel and Domizzi are under doubt.

AS Roma won their last two away games, and will travel to Udine to make it three wins in a row. The one man they will have to fear from Udinese is Antonio Di Natale, on the third place in the goalscorer list this season with 8 goals, who now has 2.50 odds to score anytime. The last four head to head games between Udinese and AS Roma saw the visitors collecting 7 points out of 12, and they are tipped to win again.

Titan Bet gives a Roma win 1.90 odds while Udinese got 4.33 in the same market. Over 2.5 goals has 2.00 odds, an odd number of corners 1.85, Roma to win both halves 2.95, Udinese 7.00 and Roma with s -1 handicap 3.40 odds. Destro to score has 2.35 odds, Ljajic and Iturbe both have 3.10 and we’re betting 7 units on Roma winning the second half with 2.20 odds from Titan Bet.

I got into the exciting world of sports betting years ago when information on the subject was much more difficult to find. Of course I made a lot of rookie mistakes and bad bets but over time I learned from those experiences. Nowadays, those who want to start out placing sports bets have the opposite problem. There’s so much information available that it’s so hard to sort through it all and to know who to listen to. With this blog I’ll be doing that work for you and I’ll strive to bring you nothing but the best betting tips and information the internet has to offer. I invite you, my readers, to actively participate and share your feelings and experiences by commenting on my blog entries!
