Ludogorets host Steaua Bucharest to determine which team gets to be present at the Friday draw for the Champions League group stage. This match is between two teams that are the best their respective countries have to offer, and they were pretty level in the first match until a last gasp goal by Chipciu gave Steaua the advantage over their Bulgarian opponents.
Ludogorets ridiculed CSKA Sofia when they won against them with 2-0 all while resting several of their key players. The hosts made a name on the European stage last season when they took out of the competition such names as Lazio and PSV Eindhoven while their road stopped against Valencia. They have no reported injuries or suspensions even if Caicara and Yones have a yellow card from the previous match.
Steaua had a complete makeover starting this season when they changed the manager and lost some of their brightest stars, and still they manage to show some class in their internal competition. The two teams met previously in the beginning of August when Steaua lost with 2-4 even if Ludogorets missed two penalty shots and were leading even with a 4 goals advantage. Steaua have a few injury worries as Arlauskis and Tanase are set to miss the match due to slight muscle troubles.
William Hill favors Ludogorets for this match and gives them 2.20 odds to win, Steaua gets 3.60 and a draw is at 3.00. Both teams to score and Ludogorets to win is at 5.50, same market for Steaua at 7.50, and we’re betting 7 units on both teams to score at 2.10.
