Lille – Lorient [Recap]

The French football team Lille OSC simply humiliated their opponents last Sunday, at the Grand Stade Lille Metropole, by having thrashed Lorient 5-0. This amazing result does not only bring me some extra cash for the bet I’ve won at William Hill, but also moves Lille up to the 5th place on the Ligue 1 table.

Salomon Kalou opened the scoring within only three minutes after the start of the game. A few minutes later, Dimitri Payet brought the second goal for this team.

A penalty from Lucas Digne in the 31st minute was added to Lille’s tally, and after that Bruno Ecuele Manga‘s foul on Payet followed. In an instant, Kalou manged to find the bottom corner and gave the hosts a 4-0 advantage at half time. At this point, they could have slowed down their attack and focused on maintaining the already huge advantage. Still, R. Rodelin scored again in the 53rd minute, leaving Lorient breathless and without a single option.

The shock suffered by Lorient was so big that they haven’t even managed to score a honour goal. However, this wouldn’t have been so easy since Lille have categorically dominated all areas of the game, from the beginning until the end.

Result: +4.02 units, bet won

I got into the exciting world of sports betting years ago when information on the subject was much more difficult to find. Of course I made a lot of rookie mistakes and bad bets but over time I learned from those experiences. Nowadays, those who want to start out placing sports bets have the opposite problem. There’s so much information available that it’s so hard to sort through it all and to know who to listen to. With this blog I’ll be doing that work for you and I’ll strive to bring you nothing but the best betting tips and information the internet has to offer. I invite you, my readers, to actively participate and share your feelings and experiences by commenting on my blog entries!
