Juventus Torino vs. Sampdoria [Recap, January 18th]

We placed a bet with bet365 on both Juventus to win and for there to be over 2.5 goals and this Saturday they proved us right. Juve not only restored the 8 points lead over AS Roma, but also registered their 12th consecutive Serie A win. The squad as a whole was not as shiny bright as one would have expected, but with Arturo Vidal’s brace they won with 4-2.

Juventus scored after just 18 minutes when Pogba gave away to Vidal a powerful pass. Five minutes later Llorente added another goal, but closer to the end of the first half Andrea Barzagli scored an own goal that gave Sampdoria some hope of walking away with a point. Even though Andrea Pirlo and Gabbiadini were the ones left on the sidelines, Marchisio did a pretty good job of filling the void.

Sampdoria were without Roberto Soriano and Nenad Krsticic, who were suspended, and even though they had the better ball possession percentage it wasn’t enough to keep up the draw. It was Pogba who was considered Man of The Match as his presence on the field did much more for Juve feeling a complete team and his assists as well as the fourth goal were what sealed the three points for his team.

It could have been 5-2 few minutes before the end, but the same Pogba who received a pass from Quaglierella sent the ball in the wrong side of Angelo Da Costa’s goal.

Result: +8,8 units, bet won

I got into the exciting world of sports betting years ago when information on the subject was much more difficult to find. Of course I made a lot of rookie mistakes and bad bets but over time I learned from those experiences. Nowadays, those who want to start out placing sports bets have the opposite problem. There’s so much information available that it’s so hard to sort through it all and to know who to listen to. With this blog I’ll be doing that work for you and I’ll strive to bring you nothing but the best betting tips and information the internet has to offer. I invite you, my readers, to actively participate and share your feelings and experiences by commenting on my blog entries!
