FC Sevilla vs Feyenoord Rotterdam (Europa League, 18.09.2014)

Sevilla host Feyenoord for their opening Europa League match in what has been deemed a high security alert meeting. The General Anti-violence Commission has enforced the security and has advised the fans to take extra cautious measures. The visitors come to this stage of the competition after failing to qualify for the Champions League group stage, and the bookmakers favor the hosts to win outright.

Sevilla won Europa League last season, but failed in their quest to secure the fourth place that would have lead them into the Champions League, and the Spaniards were left defending their title. They occupy the third place in the table after two wins and one draw in the first three rounds. The injury list presents such names as Beto, Barbosa, Cristoforo and Gameiro but sees the return of Aleix Vidal. Even if Alberto Moreno and Rakitic left the team, they have not lost that winning mentality.
Feyenoord are the exact opposite of Sevilla in terms of results, as they barely managed to scrape a 92 minute win over FC Zorya. In Eredivisie they are doing even worse, with only one win in 5 rounds, which placed them on the 14th place. The misfortunes may be due to the fact that their main goalscorer left the team this summer, as well as to the loss of Martins Indi and Janmaat, and no incoming replacements. Feyenoord might have the will to win, and restore some of their credibility, but Sevilla have more winning practice as of late. Sevilla get 1.45 odds for an outright win, Feyenoord 7.50 and a draw for the two sides at 4.50. Over 2.5 goals is at 1.83, Sevilla for both halves at 2.10 and the same betting market for Feyenoord at 11.00. We are betting 7 units on second half with the majority of goals at 2.05 with Titan Bet.
