Arsenal vs Manchester United (Premier League, 22.11.2014)

Arsenal will try to overcome the so called curse of beating Manchester United at the Emirates, a thing which they have not done since 2011, and all the other meetings have been either a draw or a narrow Manchester United win, save for that infamous 8-2 loss Arsenal suffered while playing at Old Trafford in August 2011.

Both teams have their fair share of injuries, Arsenal will be without Ozil, Debuchy, Walcott, Ospina and Koscielny, while United have provoked the hysteria of announcing that Falcao will miss the match due to his ever nagging injury which prevented him for playing for United for over a month now. David De Gea picked up a thumb injury during training for national team, but will be fit to play in the line against Arsenal. Daley Blind was seriously injured during a Netherlands game and joined Carrick, Shaw, Di Maria, Rojo, Young, Jones, and Evans on the unavailable list, but several players are still due for a fitness test. Danny Welbeck is under doubt, while Arsene Wenger confirmed that Giroud and Arteta will be available for selection.
United have 16 points out of 11 matches while Arsenal have 17 points, and the outcome of this game will point towards the Champions League contender for next year. The visitors need the boost for the Champions League spot after their revenues dropped as a result of one match per week, but the Gunners are not an easy prey despite their shaky form. Man United come from a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace, while Arsenal lost against Swansea City with 2-1.

There’s no doubt over who is Arsenal’s main man, Alexis Sanchez has been literally carrying the team for several matches now and has eight goals to boast with. For Manchester United the main man award will have to be divided between Di Maria, Rooney and Van Persie, the latter to be booed by Arsenal fans like there’s no tomorrow. He has scored only three goals so far, refuses to be present in the assists department, which is why he’ll be expecting others to engineer the goals for him.

Arsenal are the favorites to finally win against Man United for which Titan bet gives them 2.10 odds, while United got 3.45 odds in the same market. Another draw has 3.50 odds, Arsenal for both halves have 3.30 odds, Manchester United 5.50. Sanchez to score has 2.30 odds; Welbeck 2.37 and Podolski with Ramsey both have 3.60 odds in the same market. For Man United, Van Persie has 2.50 odds, Rooney 3.20 and Di Maria 4.00. We are going to bet 7 units on over 3.5 goals with 2.70 odds from Titan Bet.
