Manchester United – Arsenal [Prediction]

October 31, 2012 3 Betting, Soccer, Sports

Manchester United and Arsenal are going to meet on the 3rd of November, in the English Premier League. The two teams have met previously and the score is undoubtedly in the favour of Manchester United. In fact, in the last 5 matches, Arsenal have defeated Manchester Utd. just once, in 2011 when the score was 1-0. The other head-to-head confrontations of the two teams were won by Manchester United, 3 in the English Premier League and 1 match in at the FA Cup.

The most categorical victory achieved by Manchester United against Asenal took place on the 28th of August, 2011, when the score was 8-2 for Manchester. In that match, Anderson’s fine lofted ball was released to bounce in the box by the Gunner’s inexperienced defence. The remote feeble attempt of Arsenal to remain in the game was simply destroyed when Young doubled the advantage of his team with a superb move past the stretching frame of Wojciech Szczesny, to further exemplify his seamless transition into his new side.

The last match between the two was also won by Manchester, but this time the difference of goals was not as overwhelming. Throughout the history, both sides have scored and conceded over 300 goals against each other. More exactly, the Red Devils have scored 329 times and conceded 305 goals.
All in all, I’m going to place a bet Manchester’s victory. I bet 10 units at 1.66. The odds I used are from Bet365.

AEL Limassol – Fenerbahce [Recap]

October 30, 2012 3 Betting, Soccer, Sports

The match between AEL Limassol and Fenerbahce, that took place on the 25th of October in the Group C of Europa League, finished in a 1-0 victory for Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce’s victory also means that I won the bet I made.

The only goal of the match was brought by E. Korkmaz, in the second half of the match, more precisely in the 72th minute. The match had no red or yellow cards, and, from my point of view, it was a transparent game.

Before this match, AEL Limassol played against Nea Salamis within the League Division 1, where they achieved a 2-1 victory. On the other hand, Fenerbahce played against Bursaspor, also within the League, and only managed a draw.

In case AEL Limassol is eager to take the revenge, they will have the chance this year, on the 8th of November, when the following direct confrontation between the two teams is going to take place. The next matches for each team are going to take place on the 3th of November, when Fenerbahce is going to face Akhisar Bld. in the Super League of Turkey and AEL Limassol is going to meet Ethnikos Achna in the Division 1 Cyprus.

AEL Limassol – Fenerbahce [Prediction]

October 24, 2012 4 Betting, Soccer, Sports

On the 25th of October, in the Group C of Europa League, Fenerbahce is going to meet AEL Limassol. The performances of both teams have been quite remarkable in the last period of time, but Fenerbahce has its clear and undeniable advantages.

First of all, Fenerbahce has a refreshed team. On Monday, the football player Meireles signed a four-year deal with Fenerbahce for a valuable sum that is believed to be somewhere around 10 million Euros. In the last season, the 29-year-old football player made 42 appearances for the Blues, bringing his team a series of Champions League honours. Though, the midfielder of Chelsea affirmed he was going to miss his former club. He claimed that the main reason behind choosing Fenerbahce is the long history of the clum and the fact that it is universally recognised.

The results of the teams’ last five matched are not bad, but nor very satisfying either. This year, on 28 August, AEL Limassol was defeated by Anderlecht in a match that ended with a 2-0 score. That was after a 2-1 victory achieved by AEL Limassol against Anderlecht on 22 August. On the 1st and the 8th of August, AEL Limassol achieved another two victories, both against Partizan. In both matches, they needed one sole goal to win the match.

All in all, I think Fenerbahce has all the chances to win this match, and I am going to place a bet on Fenerbahce’s victory. I bet 10 units at 2.05. The odds I used are from William Hill.

By the way, I have just opened an IBCBET agent account via BET-IBC. If anyone’s interested in opening an account, let me know!

NAC Breda – Vitesse [Recap]

October 23, 2012 2 Soccer

Vitesse won the match against NAC Breda, that took place in the Eredivisie competition on the Rat Verlegh Stadium. This also implies that I won the bet I made. The victory was a categorical one. NAC Breda didn’t score even once, while Vitesse scored 3 goals. The first goal came in the 32nd minute and was brought by Jonathan Reis. The second and the third goals were added in the second half of the game, one in the 56th minute, and the other one in the 68th minute. Both last goals were scored by W. Bony.

Regarding the possession of the ball, Vitesse was the undeniable leader of the chart. There were 4 corners for each team, 9 shots on target also by both teams, 5 shots belonging to NAC Breda and only 2 to Vitesse, 16 fouls for NAC Breda and 15 for Vitesse, and 3 offsides for NAC Breda and only one for Vitesse.

Regarding the number of substitutes, there were 5 in total, 3 for NAC Breda and 2 for Vitesse. In the 60th minute, K. Luijckx was replaced by M Seuntjens. The next substitution came in the very next minute, when E. Hooi was substituted for D. Verbeek. In the 75th minute, Eric Botteghin joined the game by replacing K. van der Weg. The other two substitutions took place in the 81st minute, when P. van Aanholt came instead of M. Yasuda and M. Havenaar instead of N. Hofs.
All in all, it was a nice match with a clean play and a predictable result.

NAC Breda – Vitesse [Prediction]

October 18, 2012 2 Soccer

On the 20th of October, the football team NAC Breda is going to meet Vitesse in the Netherlands. Vitesse remain unbeaten after 8 matches, and so far, they have won all of their away matches. On the other hand, NAC Breda are almost at the bottom of the table.

The head-to-head confrontations between the two teams almost always reveal a balanced and tight game. For example, all their 3 confrontations from Eredivisie in 2010 ended in a draw. In 2011, NAC Breda achieved a 1-0 victory, and on the 4th of February 2012, the victory belonged to Vitesse, who also scored one sole goal.

Judging by their most recent performances, NAC Breda has 2 victories out of the last 5 played matches. The last match, the one played against PSV Eindhoven, resulted in a sheer humiliation for NAC Breda, who didn’t manage to score any goal against their opponents who scored 4 times. On the other hand, Vitesse has 3 victories out of the last 5 played matches, while the other two are draws.

All in all, I’m going to place a bet on Vitesse’s victory. I bet 5 units at 2.06. The odds I used are from IBCBET.
