Real Madrid – Manchester United [Prediction]

The worldwide known football teams Real Madrid and Manchester United are going to meet on the 13th of February at the Champions League.

Matt Law from The Daily Mirror stated that the transfer of Luka Modric to Real Madrid was the worst movement of the summer that La Liga made. When this happened, Manchester United set its sights elsewhere.

Modric would fit perfectly in the Manchester United lineup, and Alex Ferguson should keep an extremely close look on the midfielder. Since Michael Carrick has already turned 31, he cannot be counted on to continue orchestrating the attack of United in the future, even if his shape has considerably improved. That is why Modric is considered to be a significant chance for strengthening the team.

Moreover, Modric has the skills to excel both as a traditional central midfielder in a 4-4-2 formation or as a defensive midfielder in other lineups. His vision and passing are brilliant, and he proved to be simply amazing last season when he ranked third in the Premiership in terms of key passes.

This being said, after judging by each team’s latest performances and squad updates, I choose to place a bet on Real Madrid’s victory. I bet 10 units at 1.60. The odds I used are from William Hill.
