Newcastle United – Everton [Prediction]

On the 2nd of January, the English football teams Newcastle United and Everton are going to compete at English Premier League. During Christmas, Newcastle lost two successive matches in front of Arsenal (7-3) and Manchester United (4-3) at Old Trafford on Boxing Day.

However, the score flattered the London club due to their last three goals that have been scored in the last five minutes at Etihad Stadium. This match lead Newcastle on to the 15th position in the Premier League charts, three points away from the drop zone.

On the other hand, Everton have paid for wasting a number of chances on Sunday, as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Chelsea. With this defeat, Everton ended with their unbeaten home record, and a run of seven matches without a loss. They finished the 2013 season on the sixth position.

Regarding the head-to-head confrontations between Newcastle and Everton, both teams have 2 victories against each other and one 2-2 draw.

All in all, I think Everton has better chances to win this match and that’s why I’m going to place a bet on their victory. I bet 5 units at 2.25. The odds I used are from Bet365.

I got into the exciting world of sports betting years ago when information on the subject was much more difficult to find. Of course I made a lot of rookie mistakes and bad bets but over time I learned from those experiences. Nowadays, those who want to start out placing sports bets have the opposite problem. There’s so much information available that it’s so hard to sort through it all and to know who to listen to. With this blog I’ll be doing that work for you and I’ll strive to bring you nothing but the best betting tips and information the internet has to offer. I invite you, my readers, to actively participate and share your feelings and experiences by commenting on my blog entries!

Yes, Everton won! And they are now on the fifth position on the chart. Congrats for the won bet! 🙂 I’m waiting for the recap, since I was at work and therefore, unable to watch the match.
