The match between Manchester United and Arsenal on the 3rd of November, ended in a Manchester’s victory, just as I have predicted. The quality of the match was high and both teams, but especially the winner, offered a truly spectacular show.
The first goal of the match came in its very beginning. In the 3th minute, Robin van Persie capitalizes on a loose ball and slams in a right-footer, putting Manchester United 1-0 ahead. He didn’t celebrate this goal, as if he was absolutely sure that it is not going to be the only one. He just gestured a hi-five yes, but nothing more.
In the 67th minute, Manchester United added their second goal. It was a cross-clear for a long time before one sneaked in. First of all, the one-on-one effort of Van Persie was saved by Mannone. The resulting corner was taken short and the cross of Rooney was met by Patrice Evra.
In the 94th minute of the match, Arsenal scored their honor goal. Even if Arsenal might not be in their best form, Santi Cazorla is definitely playing his best football. A last minute attack afforded him some space on the edge of the area. His first shot was blocked by Carrick, but some space opened up again and that was when Cazorla fructified his chance and reduced the difference of goals.
All in all, it was a nice match, with plenty of exciting moments.
