Though Liverpool didn’t perform quite as well as I had expected, they were still able to bring about a 1:0 win against Fulham Wednesday.
For those who didn’t catch the game – the Reds got into the lead 52 minutes into the match when a shot by Fernando Torres was initially deflected and then knocked into the net by Fulham player John Pantsil. All in all Fulham performed reasonably well but still weren’t able to hold up against Liverpool.
This win brings Liverpool up to seventh place in the Premier League. Fulham falls to number 15 – just four points from the bottom three.
