Birmingham City – Notingham Forest [Recap]

The match between the English football teams Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest ended in a 2-1 Birmingham’s victory, meaning that I won the bet I placed on Birmingham’s victory.

The midfielder Chris Burke was the one who brought Birmingham the two goals in the 45+1st and 80th minute of the match, while Billy Sharp from Nottingham Forest scored the first and only goal for his team in the 90+3rd minute.

Ironically, the boss of Nottingham Forest, Alex McLeish ended the last week defeated by his former employees. In this match with Birmingham City, he made four major changes: Guy Moussi came in for Simion Gillet, Dan Harding for Elliot Ward, Andy Reid for Simon Cox and Darius Henderson for Dexter Blackstock. Moussi, who had made an encouraging return from injury, was replaced by Radi Majewski as McLeish looked to provide his side with a creative spark.

In the 68th minute, it appeared certain the striker Collins would mark his St Andrew’s bow with a crucial goal, but it was just not meant to be.

All in all, it was a neat and competitive match, and both teams could go home without any reason for feeling embarrassed.

Result: +10.96, bet won

I got into the exciting world of sports betting years ago when information on the subject was much more difficult to find. Of course I made a lot of rookie mistakes and bad bets but over time I learned from those experiences. Nowadays, those who want to start out placing sports bets have the opposite problem. There’s so much information available that it’s so hard to sort through it all and to know who to listen to. With this blog I’ll be doing that work for you and I’ll strive to bring you nothing but the best betting tips and information the internet has to offer. I invite you, my readers, to actively participate and share your feelings and experiences by commenting on my blog entries!
